Hello everyone and welcome to my website! My name is Steven and I am pleased to be on this journey through mathematics with you! I was born and raised right here in Mitchell, SD where I graduated from Mitchell High School. I then attended Black Hills State University in Spearfish where I graduated with two degrees: BS in Mathematics and a BSEd in Mathematics Education. While in university, I was part of a Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program exploring the mathematical foundations of String Theory and produced a paper entitled: "Explicit Computation of Cohomological Hodge Parameters in Calabi-Yau Threefolds" with Professor Parthasarathi Nag. I am currently pursing graduate studies through the University of Houston where I will soon graduate with my MA in Mathematics.

Outside of math, I enjoy reading, football (soccer), and travelling. I travel across the world with my fiancee, Nayeon, and have been to England, France, Korea, and Japan. I am a supporter of English football club Aston Villa!
